So I’m doing the R.O.C. race 5k today :D (Ridiculous obstacle challenge). I have my GoPro charged and ready to go, my chest strap for it adjusted, didn’t fast last night to get a little energy in, and I feel amazing. Legs.. however are still sore from Thursday’s workout. But i should be fine, i forgot to do weighted lunges.. and that would of contributed to a huge factor. LETS GET IT!
I’m getting terrible urges to just cook. buy tons of ingredients and just see what happens if i mix this with that, play with different styles and spices, and just make awesome food. lol This bar and grill idea is just becoming more and more vivid. the wonders of food.. sigh.. and i’m stuck here with crappy ship food, a microwave in my room and a terrible schedule. but thats military life for ya.. lol cant. fucken. wait… til i get out. lol its been a fun/will still be a fun run.
Hm.. I don’t think I’ve been writing so much lately.. eh, might as well, waiting on my turn to shoot the M9 again.. Lol
So right now, I’m stationed in San Diego. I always liked California in general, something about Cali.. anyways I’m here for training before I head over to Bahrain June 1st. :( bummer.. overseas deployment.. desert life.. yup yup!
So.. to make the most out of cali, a friend and I decided to sign up for a bunch of 5k runs and hike Mt Woodson. Yup guys are free to join, we are going Sunday lol.
First 5k run, on April 6th, is the Run or Dye (I couldn’t make the Color Run, explain later), second run would be on April 6th (yep, 2 in one day :D) and that will be the Warrior Dash :D Beast mode.. Lol then finally on May 11th, is the R.O.C. Race :) (that’s why I couldn’t do the color run, drives are to far apart to make both events)
Now.. I got 2 weeks to train up and have my ankle fully heal. If not.. welp.. guess I’ll have a bad ankle for a little while longer.. Lol. Did feel pretty good in my run yesterday, so I should be good.. :)
So.. anyone in Cali want to join? :D
